I chose Heli-Flight JLR for my PPL & CPL training because it's a very family-like environment and operation, and I received the best advice before starting my training. During the training, I enjoy how the flight instructors, all pipeline and/or air rescue pilots, incorporate their practical knowledge and are always available to answer questions. Since Heli-Flight operates its own hangar, you can also watch the technicians and mechanics at work and see things that you wouldn't normally see during a pre-flight check, or with a bit of luck, you might even get to sit in the helicopter during a maintenance flight. They also always have valuable tips for young pilots. The flight instructors have also established online study groups and a monthly pilot get-together at the airfield restaurant „Bordküche,“ where you can meet, get to know each other, and exchange ideas. All in all, a satisfying concept.
